Job summary

Eden Housing is seeking a maintenance technician for our California properties in Santa Rosa. The role involves skilled maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs, with daily property checks and safety compliance.

The position requires experience in property maintenance, ability to read safety instructions, and reliable teamwork. On-site work and participation in on-call rotations are expected; minor calling and reporting duties are included.

• Rekeying / replacing door locks.
• Proficient in rescreening window screen.

• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within five days.
• Interior and exterior paint projects.
• Troubleshoot and complete basic appliance repairs.
• Hang and fit doors.
• Install mini/vertical blinds.
• Follow manufacturer directions for utilizing products.
• Inspect equipment and tag out unsafe items.

Pay Range: Minimum $19.25 - Maximum $22.45 per hourPosition SummaryPerforms maintenance duties and repairs, such as skilled plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, sheet rock repair, major appliance repair, refurbishing, and common area cleaning at one or more communities that have multiple maintenance technicians.Work OrdersUtilize Yardi software to create and/or complete work orders and sync dailyCommunicate with resident if there are delays in completing work such as needing to order partsInspectionsActively walk the property daily looking for deficiencies and if found, create and submit work orderComplete quarterly property inspections and annual unit inspections using phone or tablet.
