Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a Maintenance I&E Technician for the Chocolate Bayou facility near Alvin, Texas. The role supports safe and reliable operation by installing, calibrating, and maintaining critical equipment while contributing to incident investigations and improvement opportunities.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, five years of process instrumentation experience, or a two-year technical degree with CCST certification; TWIC card is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years full-time experience in process instrumentation in petrochemical/refinery or related industry.
• Two-year technical degree in Instrumentation, electronics, process control, or CCST certification.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and adjust plant-critical equipment such as motors, circuits, valves, and analyzers.
• Develop work plans for installation, calibration, inspection and troubleshooting to minimize production impact.
• Provide field instrumentation support for process equipment linked to SCADA/LAN systems.
• Assist in incident investigations and corrective action development as part of continuous improvement.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in area of responsibility.
