Job summary

Leedo Cabinets LLC in East Bernard, Texas is seeking a Maintenance Helper to support the Maintenance Technician in repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment in the manufacturing plant, and to perform routine preventative maintenance. Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Technician in repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance.
• Dismantle machines using hand/power tools to inspect parts for defects and repair or replace.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for Work Requests and Checklists.
• Assist with wiring/conduit installations for new equipment.

Job Summary

This person will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Technician in repairing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the manufacturing plant. He/She will also be responsible for performing and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.

Dismantle machines or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and repair or replace.

Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned Work Requests and Checklists.

Assist with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment installations.

Special duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

Basic tools to perform the above tasks required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have basic industrial mechanical skills.

Experience in industrial electrical a plus.

Ability to enter daily work performed in CMMS Software.

Must be able to read and follow written instructions.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Vocational or Technical Coursework (Preferred)

Minimum of (3) years' experience (Required)

Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions

Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.

Must be able to pass a physical exam, drug screening and criminal background check.
