Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on chairs and microscopes, and repair microscopes; sanitize work benches and large surfaces during shutdowns.
• Perform minor repairs to manufacturing tools (tweezers, scissors, probes).
• Document maintenance tasks and track labor hours/spare parts in asset lifecycle system (e.g., Maximo).
• Re-configure racks to meet production volume shifts based on work orders to limit WIP.
• Arrive on time, maintain regular attendance, work full 8-hour shifts.
• Assist with general housekeeping and other duties as assigned by leadership.

The Maintenance Helper ensures the working condition of manufacturing support equipment to support smooth and continuous operations.

The standard hours for this role are Monday-Friday 5:30am-2pm.

How you'll make an impact:

• Perform preventive maintenance on chairs and microscopes, as well as making repairs to microscopes; also perform preventive maintenance and sanitization of work benches and other large surfaces during shutdowns.
• Perform minor repairs to manufacturing tools, such as tweezers, scissors and probes.
• Document maintenance tasks, track labor hours and spare parts data in asset lifecycle system (e.g., Maximo).
• Re-configure racks to accommodate production volume shifts based on work orders to limit the number of work orders in process.
• On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period.
• Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping, other duties as assigned by leadership.

• Must be able to work with minimum supervision by following preventive maintenance instructions.

• Work in a Team environment.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $30,000 to $41,000 (highly experienced).
