Job summary

Burger King is hiring a Handyman to perform minor repairs and general upkeep across our restaurant locations in the Chiefland area. The role requires reliable transportation to travel between sites and will involve both indoor and outdoor tasks, including landscaping.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to travel between locations.
• Experience with basic hand tools and lawn care implements.
• Background in building maintenance and repairs (painting, drywall, lighting).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally; able to walk, stand, crawl, kneel and bend.

Responsibilities

Burger King is currently seeking candidates for a Handyman position. In this role, you will be handle minor repairs at our restaurants and deal with general upkeep issues.

The qualified candidate must have reliable transportation and be able to go between our Burger King locations throughout the area (mileage will be paid). The work will be both inside and outside, including some landscaping.

The qualified candidate will have:

• A valid and current drivers license as well as a reliable vehicle to be able to drive between locations
• Working knowledge of all basic hand tools and lawn care implements
• Experience doing building maintenance and repairs (painting, drywall repair, changing light ballasts, etc.)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and 75 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to walk/stand/climb/kneel/bend as needed
