Job summary

Tenaris is seeking a Base Maintenance Group Supervisor I to lead preventive maintenance for Houston-based CNC and hydraulic systems. The role focuses on reliability, technical leadership, budget adherence, and collaboration with Engineering during equipment startups and upgrades.

You will supervise a maintenance team, coordinate inspections, and ensure HSE compliance while optimizing energy use and plant availability.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of CNC lathes and rotary equipment used in pipe manufacturing.
Advanced knowledge of industrial hydraulic systems and equipment.
Advanced mechanical troubleshooting capability and root‑cause analysis.
Hands‑on experience coordinating corrective maintenance and managing breakdown response.

Responsibilities

Develops and supervises the Preventive Maintenance plan.
Optimizes equipment reliability and maintainability by defining maintenance strategies.
Performs and oversees inspections in his/her area.
Monitors CNC machinery effectiveness and maintains stock.
Draws up maintenance cost budgets and controls costs.
Plans and executes Extraordinary Reparation shutdowns (REX).
Ensures health, safety and environment standards are followed.
Supports maintenance information systems and uses data for decisions.
