Job summary

Pittsburgh Parking Authority is seeking a maintenance-focused employee to handle daily duties across City facilities and surface lots. You will perform general maintenance tasks, operate a company vehicle, and assist with salting and basic repairs in all weather conditions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience, and the ability to use common hand and power tools. Residency within Allegheny County is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of working experience and six months operating a PC.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects requiring physical labor across facilities and lots.
• Drive company vehicle to assigned areas.
• Salting, planting, patching asphalt, cement mixing, sign installation and light bulb changes.
• Operate tools and equipment safely; perform snow removal if applicable.
• Follow safety rules and work as part of a team.
• Able to lift 10–80 pounds repeatedly; work in varying weather conditions.
