Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a Maintenance Trainee role in the United States. The position involves training to perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, rebuilding as needed, and repairing machinery during production.

You will learn the CMMS and may rotate shifts or departments, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to regulations. Internal candidates are given first consideration; external applicants with industrial maintenance, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding

Qualifications

• Training to perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Learning to use the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Willingness to rotate shifts or departments.
• Internal candidates will be considered first.
• Ability to learn troubleshooting skills and pass the training program.
• Must abide by all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, rebuilding equipment as determined by supervisor.
• Repair equipment as necessary during production periods and assist with machine adjustments.
• Learn and use the CMMS in a fast-paced environment with proper communication.
• May be subject to shift/department rotation and must follow safety regulations.
