Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a Plant Maintenance Generalist role in the United States. The successful candidate will train to perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, perform facility repairs, and adjust machines during production periods. Experience with CMMS and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment are required.

Relocation is not offered. All shifts are available across U.S. facilities, with background checks and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Plant Maintenance Generalist: 3 Months mechanical experience or enrolled or completed an automotive/mechanical degree or training.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and rebuild equipment as determined by supervisor.
• Perform facility repairs, machine adjustments, and repair equipment during production periods.
• Learn and use the computerized maintenance management system in a fast-paced environment; communicate with proper personnel.
