Job summary

Donatech Corporation in Goleta, CA seeks a skilled facilities technician to perform routine repairs and maintenance of plant and office facilities and equipment. • At least 2 years of HVAC experience.

• Experience in light construction tasks.
• Metalworking or machining experience.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment.
• Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Inspect facilities to identify repair and maintenance needs.
• Report issues to supervisor and assist in troubleshooting.

Job description

Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. US Citizenship Required. Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment. Performs basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, plumbing, plastic or sheet metal fabrication, or associated work on plant facilities using hand and power tools. May be required to troubleshoot equipment or facilities problems and reports them to supervisor. May interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. May perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary.

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Experience in all of the labor trades such as plumbing, structural, electrical, painting and more
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC
• Demonstrated Problem and troubleshooting skills
• Light construction
• Metalworking or machining
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
