Job summary

Medline Industries LP is seeking a Mgr Maintenance (Administrative) to lead the maintenance and housekeeping functions, oversee safety training and ensure cGMP compliance across facilities. The role focuses on reducing waste, optimizing uptime and supervising a skilled maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.

The position requires extensive maintenance experience plus the ability to manage budgets, mentor staff and work in a demanding facility with variable conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.
• At least 7 years maintenance experience.
• Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
• Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed.
• Must be able to wear a full face respirator.
• Must be able to work in hot and humid conditions.
• Experience in liquid filling in cGmp, FDA Environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage maintenance and housekeeping departments, including repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment.
• Identify, recommend and implement improvement items to eliminate waste and non-conforming product; assist in Preventive Maintenance Plan.
• Direct maintenance staff to analyze mechanical and operational problems on equipment and manage corrective actions and outsourced work.
• Develop and maintain measurement systems to track maintenance performance (uptime, PM programs, etc.).
• Review and approve monthly expenditures by the maintenance department.
