Job summary

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in California offers an Engineering Maintenance Engineer Intern program designed for Tribal Team Members to gain hands-on experience in the operations of maintenance. The Intern will have the opportunity to gain up to 2000 hours (1 year) of on-the-job training, education and experience necessary to understand and perform the duties of the position by completing all tasks in the Intern Work Plan Outline.

The Intern will receive a completion certificate.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; willingness to obtain during internship.
• Previous maintenance/mechanics experience preferred.
• Experience in multiple trades (dry wall, flooring, painting) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance and repair tasks as directed.
• Interact with management, staff and guests to support the internship plan.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
