The Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane, WA is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold our luxury property's high standards of reliability and guest comfort. You will maintain, repair, and install mechanical and electrical systems, and manage preventive maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in hotel or similar settings, solid HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, good problem solving and communication, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• 2–5 years experience in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance.
• HVAC, plumbing or electrical skills.
• Light carpentry, paint and wallpaper knowledge.
• Pool operation certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Read, write and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Preventive maintenance background preferred.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, as well as managing preventive maintenance schedules. Qualifications

• Experience of 2-5 years preferred in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance environment.
• HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills.

• Certification in pool operation preferred.
• Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
