Hotel Adeline, a Pyramid Global Hospitality property in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee repair and upkeep of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems within a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repairs of building and facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pool systems.
• Conducts electrical repairs on appliances, wiring, air conditioning, switches, fixtures, motors.
• Maintains plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, sanitary systems and water-related equipment.
• Performs carpentry and cosmetic repairs including woodwork, walls, doors, windows, carpeting.
• Maintains pumps, compressors, water heaters, pool filtration systems, and other equipment.
• Keeps hotel pool areas clean and compliant with safety standards; monitors water quality.
• Keeps records of maintenance logs and completed tasks; submits reports timely.

What you will have an opportunity to do

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance person, who is highly motivated, and detail oriented to join our team as a Maintenance Engineer! This individual performs a variety of maintenance trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work and upkeep of the preventative maintenance program of the hotel. You will be working closely with different members of our team, so you will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude. Your role

• Performs general maintenance and repairs of building and facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pool systems.
• Conducts general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, motors, and related equipment.
• Performs repairs and maintenance on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, sanitary systems and water-related equipment.
• Completes general carpentry and cosmetic repairs including woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and other interior/exterior surfaces.
• Performs routine mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, pool filtration systems, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintains hotel swimming pool areas, including routine inspections, cleaning, testing and balancing pool chemicals, monitoring water quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.
• Keeps records as required by company policies and procedures, including maintenance logs, pool chemical logs and documentation of completed tasks.
• Prepares and submits reports and logs as requested by supervisors in a timely manner.
