Job summary

gpac, a global leader in food processing technology, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to join its technical applications team. This role supports specialized milling and processing systems for product development, process optimization, and customer trials.

You will troubleshoot equipment, assist with setup and changeovers, and grow into a technical expert advising customers on equipment and process performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and equipment layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment issues.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Assist with customer trials and product testing initiatives.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Work with PLC-controlled equipment and automated processing systems.
• Follow SOPs and ensure equipment is properly configured for testing and production activities.
• Identify opportunities for equipment reliability and process improvements.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and technical teams to support customer success.
