Job summary

The Mills House, part of Davidson Hospitality Group in Charleston, SC, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold high standards of quality and safety. You will maintain, repair, and install mechanical and electrical systems and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure smooth hotel operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in hotel or related maintenance, with HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, carpentry and painting knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience of 2–5 years preferred in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance.
• HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills.
• Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• Certification in pool operation preferred.
• Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Read, write and understand English.
