Job summary

The NAB Leadership Foundation is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Buffalo, NY to manage and maintain all broadcast and technology equipment in the facility. Salary ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 hourly and you will ensure reliable operation of critical systems.

You will troubleshoot and repair cameras, routers, ingest and playout servers, and automation gear, while coordinating with teams to meet deadlines and handle extended hours as needed.

About the Role

The Maintenance Engineer participates in managing and maintaining all broadcast and technology related equipment within the facility.

Salary - $20.00 to $30.00 hourly

Requirements

• Possess superior troubleshooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work extended hours as needed may include overnight and weekends
• ‘Be initiative-taking, desire to learn new skills consistent with good engineering/IT practices

Experience

• 2 years previous broadcast engineering experience.
• Broadcast equipment repair and maintenance skills required including experience with the repair and maintenance of video cameras, video routers, ingest and playout servers, newscast automation equipment
