Job summary

Precision Castparts in Irvine, CA is seeking a level three maintenance electrician to perform advanced maintenance and repair on electrical systems, calibrate furnace controls, test instruments, and conduct furnace pre-surveys under minimal supervision.

You will mentor junior electricians, troubleshoot VFDs, burner and VAR systems, and may oversee licensed or contracted electrical work at the plant level.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or relevant technical certification.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.

Level three electrician demonstrate advanced trouble shooting skills working with electrical equipment and systems such as VFD's, burner systems and VAR systems. Level three maintenance electrician also provide leadership and mentoring to level one and two maintenance electricians, and may be required to oversee licensed and contracted electrical work at the plant level.

• Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting skills on electrical systems including VFDs, burner systems, and VAR systems
• Previous experience conducting furnace pre-surveys and performing related compliance or quality documentation
• Previous experience providing leadership and mentoring to lower-level electricians and overseeing licensed or contracted electrical work at a plant level
