Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Electrician, Maintenance to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment at a Government facility in Biloxi, Mississippi. The role requires diagnosing trouble, wiring, testing, and servicing a range of electrical systems for commercial environments.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of experience with industrial electrical work, reads schematics and blueprints, and can operate hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial facilities.
• Electrician license preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing of commercial and industrial electrical/electronic systems.
• Tests, installs, repairs, and maintains electrical equipment such as generators, ATS, UPS, transformers, switchboards, controllers, door operators, circuit breakers, motors, conduit systems, and other transmission equipment.
• Performs fire alarm system and/or call system testing and maintenance.
• Maintains cleanliness of assigned spaces and workshop.
• Assists maintenance teams and identifies/resolves failures/alarms related to critical building equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
