Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production line equipment and facilities. This role involves maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic components, up to 480V, in a safety-conscious plant environment.

You will read blueprints and manuals, use test equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting a multi-shift manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• G.E.D. or High School Diploma required.
• Technical School or Apprenticeship training is a plus but not required.
• 3-5 years in a maintenance electrician role in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, safety rules, and operating manuals in English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production line equipment in a timely manner.
• Maintain and work with low- and high-voltage systems (up to 480V).
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, schematic drawings, and work instructions.
• Work effectively in a team environment under supervision.
• Adhere to safety standards, including Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
