Job summary

Red Gold, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Electrician to maintain and repair motors, control boxes, starters, and related electrical equipment in an on-site manufacturing setting.

The role requires a strong background in electrical systems, PLC familiarity, and the ability to read and follow instructions while performing hands-on tasks. Safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and GMP knowledge are valued. candidates with 3+ years of industrial experience are preferred.

Job description

To maintain all electric motors, control boxes, starters and PLC’s operation of all electric equipment and repair.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance and repair of motors
• Maintenance on control boxes
• Maintenance on starters
• Run of conduit and wiring
• Replacement of parts as needed
• Installing and removal of machinery
• Know emergency procedures when lights go out in plant
• Procedures for lockout/tag out

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
• Strong background in electrical
• 3 years’ experience as an electrician in an industrial environment desired
