Job summary

Red Gold, Inc. is seeking an industrial electrician to maintain and repair motors, control boxes, starters, and PLCs across our manufacturing equipment. You will also run conduit and wiring, replace parts as needed, and install or remove machinery.

A strong electrical background, a high school diploma or GED, and about 3 years of experience in an industrial setting are preferred. Candidates must follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and demonstrate accurate paperwork.

Job description

To maintain all electric motors, control boxes, starters and PLC’s operation of all electric equipment and repair.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintenance and repair of motors
  • Maintenance on control boxes
  • Maintenance on starters
  • Run of conduit and wiring
  • Replacement of parts as needed
  • Installing and removal of machinery
  • Know emergency procedures when lights go out in plant
  • Procedures for lockout/tag out
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in electrical
  • 3 years’ experience as an electrician in an industrial environment desired
