Job summary

Washington Beef, LLC in Toppenish, WA, seeks a Maintenance Electrician with at least 3 years of industrial electrical experience and a current Washington State Journeyman Electrical license (or eligibility to license). The role requires strong troubleshooting, programming with low voltage DC, 120/208/240/277/480V systems, and the ability to plan, install, and rewire equipment safely.

The successful candidate will work nights and weekends, pass an 80% aptitude test, and read/write/speak English.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years industrial electrical experience.
• Washington State Journeyman Electrical license or eligibility to become licensed.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• VFD/PLC experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must pass aptitude test with a minimum score of 80%.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions regarding operating strategies, set-points, and limits.
• Optimize system operations for improved cost and reliability.
• Schedule and perform major repairs and rebuilds.
• Recommend equipment upgrades and improvements.
• Perform system inspections and mechanical integrity checks.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
• Repair & rebuild equipment within the department’s assigned areas.
• Administers preventive and predictive maintenance on all assigned equipment.

Washington Beef, LLC the production division of AB Foods, is currently seeking to fill the following position at our production facility in Toppenish, WA.

MaintenanceElectrician:

Must have at least 3 years industrial electrical experience and have a current Washington State Journeyman Electrical license or qualifications to become licensed. Technical or Vocational Training may be substituted as partial experience. Must have excellent planning and troubleshooting skills with extensive experience working with low voltage DC circuits (5vdc -90vdc) plus 120V/208V/240V/277V /480V 3 Phase Power & Motor Controls circuits. Must be able to plan, install new circuits, recondition existing circuits, and rewire motors and equipment in a safe and professional manner. VFD/PLC experience also desired. Qualified individual must be able to work shift work and weekends as required. Must be able to speak, write and read English.

WAGE RANGE: $ 27.90 - 37.15 per hour
