United Talent Staffing seeks an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a manufacturing facility in Statesville, NC. The ideal candidate will maintain electrical systems, diagnose equipment failures, and perform preventative maintenance to keep machinery running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing industrial electrical systems, reading schematics, and troubleshooting motors, relays, sensors, and control devices.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and NFPA 79 electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical motors, relays, switches, sensors, and electronic components.
• Ability to work independently and with a maintenance team, ensuring safety and quality.

Position Overview

United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a manufacturing facility in Statesville, NC.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment. This position is responsible for maintaining electrical systems, diagnosing equipment failures, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working with industrial equipment, and helping improve manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic failures to minimize equipment downtime.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including motors, relays, switches, sensors, and other control devices.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Use electrical testing equipment and hand tools to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and electrical systems.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and manufacturing process improvements.
• Ensure electrical installations and repairs comply with applicable safety standards.
• Follow established safety procedures when working with electrical equipment, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Understanding of and ability to apply NFPA 79 electrical safety standards for industrial machinery.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical motors, relays, switches, sensors, and electronic components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use electrical diagnostic equipment and hand tools safely.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a maintenance team.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and minimizing equipment downtime.
