Job summary

Compass Park in Franklin, IN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across our campus. The role supports overall facility maintenance to keep residents and staff safe and comfortable.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot breakers, test emergency systems, and perform preventative maintenance while coordinating with staff to minimize disruption to resident care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid electrician license or certification (state requirements preferred).
• Experience in electrical work and general maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical components such as breakers, panels, and outlets.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections on electrical systems.
• Maintain and test emergency systems (generators, exit lighting, fire alarms).
• Document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or work orders as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes.
