Hexatronic Rochester Cable is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support our Culpeper, VA facility. This full-time night-shift role focuses on maintaining and repairing complex electrical systems in a wire and cable manufacturing setting, with a heavy emphasis on PLCs and automation equipment.
The position requires 10+ years of industrial maintenance electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and readiness to work up to 25% travel.
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will provide your knowledge and experience to drive workplace changes, utilize your analytical troubleshooting skills to minimize machine downtime, and deliver detail-oriented results within a manufacturing environment. This position requires flexibility, initiative, and perseverance to troubleshoot and solve complex problems and is expected to anticipate problems and take decisive, proactive measures to avoid or minimize adverse impacts on the facilities or equipment.

Must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing environment that requires the use of personal protective equipment including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection. Manufacturing areas may be affected by outside temperatures and machining.

Must be able to work from elevated areas and in confined spaces. This position requires the ability to bend, stoop and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as climb ramps and stairs; read and write, work with a computer and keyboard; hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery, sirens, and alarms); speak to express or exchange ideas, impart oral information to include instructions; vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral and depth perception. Must be able to lift 50 - 75 pounds in a safe and proper manner.
