Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to keep production moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, support PLC-controlled systems, and help improve reliability and OEE.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, NEC knowledge, and the ability to read schematics. This on-site position offers growth opportunities and exposure to advanced automation technologies within Flowserve facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes to develop effective repair solutions.
• Repair and replace electrical components including motors, drives, circuit breakers, wiring, controls, and related equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment including plasma welders, Lincoln and Miller power supplies, heat treatment furnaces, and rod ovens.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, CNC machinery, and building automation systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support repairs and installations.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and provide recommendations regarding repairs, upgrades, and replacement of aging components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory usage documentation.
• Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
