Job summary

Newbold Services is hiring for full-time positions at the Fletcher, NC site with shifts on days (1st and 2nd) and overtime on weekends. Pay starts at $36+ per hour depending on department, with benefits and advancement opportunities available.

Essential duties include electrical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance under OSHA and 5S guidelines, with continuous improvement and TPM participation as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Safety oriented with OSHA guidelines
  • Experience with electrical control systems a plus
  • Able to use measuring and testing instruments
  • Willing to work with TPM teams and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety rules and 5S guidelines to keep a clean, organized workplace
  • Support troubleshooting and electrical repairs of equipment
  • Analyze electrical control systems and resolve issues to restore operation
  • Assist in developing and implementing automation improvements
  • Complete quality inspections and maintain process documentation
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to drive reliability

Job description

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is now hiring for full-time positions for the site located in Fletcher, NC

Monday through Friday 1st and 2nd Shifts. *Overtime on weekends.

36+ per hour, based on department and shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance with all OSHA regulations, follow all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions, properly use any personal protection equipment(PPE) and comply with 5S guidelines to insure a clean and organized work place.

Support equipment failure analysis.

Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.

Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system.

Ensures all process documents and quality procedures are updated and acts as a resource to provide help to others.

Performs quality inspections.

Analyzes an electrical control system to resolve and repair electrical issues to return the system to proper operating conditions.

Performs troubleshooting, electrical repairs and maintenance of equipment. Conforms to applicable codes and standards to maintain, install, and operate electrical systems.

Recognizes controls related hazards in a manufacturing environment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) to incorporate safe practices and procedures as part of the daily work plan to reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment.

Implements changes to further automate manufacturing processes using available technology, programming techniques, and identifying needed material and resources for project completion to provide the optimum automation for the manufacturing environment.

Solve problems and improve processes. Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
