Job summary

TPI Global Solutions in Robesonia, PA is seeking a Maintenance/Electrical Controls Technician I to support safe operation of natural gas compressor stations. This entry-level role offers extensive training and shadowing to build your electrical and controls skills.

Based in Robesonia, you’ll troubleshoot and maintain electrical and automated control systems, participate in rotating on-call shifts, and advance through hands-on experience with experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in electrical systems, industrial controls, automation, or instrumentation.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with electrical or automated equipment.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens controls is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and procedures.
• Safety-focused mindset and good problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant technical education.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate electrical, electronic, and industrial control systems.
• Work with electrical equipment, instrumentation, transmitters, and high- and low-voltage systems.
• Diagnose issues with automated compressor station controls and turbine-related equipment.
• Learn compressor station operations, including startup/shutdown procedures, valve controls, and remote-control systems.
• Respond to equipment issues and participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Perform general facility maintenance and assist with material handling.
• Complete company training and work alongside experienced technicians.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• A strong foundation in electrical systems, industrial controls, automation, or instrumentation.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting electrical or automated equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience with Allen‑Bradley or Siemens controls is a plus.
• The ability and willingness to learn new equipment, systems, and operating procedures.
• A safety‑focused mindset and strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of relevant experience, or relevant technical education or training.
• Ability to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule.

Schedule & Location

• Based in Robesonia, Pennsylvania.
• Candidates must reside within approximately 30 miles of the facility.
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• Rotating on‑call responsibilities, typically one week on followed by several weeks off.
• Limited travel, primarily for company training in Texas.
• Relocation assistance is not available; a potential sign‑on bonus may be offered.
