Job summary

Hunt Military Communities seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee the physical condition and safety of properties, manage staff, and ensure maintenance operates within budget. The role requires coordinating with vendors, scheduling preventive maintenance, and maintaining compliance with safety standards across a 950+ unit property.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of building maintenance experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive timely repairs and inspections while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant experience may offset degree requirement
• 4-6 years of building maintenance experience
• Experience managing others preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and discipline maintenance staff
• Oversee financial performance within budget and maximize cash flow
• Communicate with vendors/contractors on scheduling, billing, and insurance
• Schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance personnel
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs and safety/compliance standards
• Oversee make-ready of vacated units and property inspections
• Manage vendor relationships and contract compliance
• Assist in site compliance inspections and safety meetings
