Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Maintenance Director responsible for developing and executing a maintenance prevention program within the facility. You will determine needs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other services while leading a team to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; college degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in plant engineering with a maintenance supervisory role.
• Expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, automation, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC.
• Strong supervisory, organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and approve repairs for facility systems to ensure efficiency, safety and compliance.
• Maintain safety records and logs and produce required reports.
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors in the facility.
• Provide preventative maintenance and upkeep of the facility and equipment.
• Inspect maintenance work for quality, safety and compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Verify daily logs of refrigerator temperatures.
• Validate daily test and logs of water temperatures.
• Manage budget guidelines for supplies and PO approvals.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
• Act as chairperson for Safety Committee.
• Follow FutureCare’s ethics and Corporate Compliance Plan.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory codes.

Overview

At FutureCare, our Maintenance Directors are responsible for developing and executing the maintenance prevention program within the facility, and for determining the need for emergency renovation, carpentry services, plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance services as needed.

Salary Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

• Competitive Salary $65-75K***

Responsibilities

• Oversee and approve all necessary repairs/improvements for the facility systems and processes to ensure efficiency, safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate safety records and logs and produce required reports as needed
• Supervise and monitor maintenance staff and maintenance contractors working in the facility
• Provide ongoing preventative maintenance and upkeep of the facility, building, building systems, fire/safety equipment and medical equipment
• Inspect maintenance work for quality, safety, and compliance
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment (workshop)
• Verify daily logs of refrigerator temperatures
• Validate daily test and logs of water temperatures within the facility
• Mandate and observe budgetary guidelines regarding supplies and service and follows proper procedure as if relates to purchase order system and approval before ordering supplies.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Acts as chairperson for Safety Committee
• Abide by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan
• Assure compliance with State and Federal Regulatory codes

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; College degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering is highly preferred
• Must have at least 5 years experience in plant engineering and a maintenance supervisory role
• Expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation systems, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC are essential
• Working knowledge of the principles of supervision, organization and administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Must exercise considerable independent judgmentEffective communication and collaboration skills are required to work with facility staff, contractors and general public
