Job summary

Warrick County School Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Dept. Summer Worker in Boonville, Indiana to perform a variety of maintenance tasks during the summer break. This role includes grounds maintenance, lifting heavy items, and assisting trade and transportation staff.

• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of maintenance duties during the summer break. Summer workers may be asked to perform the following:

• Maintain the WCSC grounds including: mowing, trimming, cutting trees, spraying weeds etc.
• Ability to lift and/or carry weights of one hundred pounds or more while moving equipment, furniture, and other materials.
• Assist WCSC trade workers: including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, masonry, painters, and mechanics with various tasks.
• Assist WCSC Transportation Department: thoroughly cleaning interior/exterior of WCSC school buses and vehicles.
• Any other duties assigned by managers.

Hours are 6:30am - 3:00 pm. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

College students preferred.

Position Type: Summer Worker

Salary: $13 to $13 Per Hour
