The ideal candidate brings hands‑on SAP PM experience, strong technical interpretation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. This position plays a pivotal role in enabling effective planning, preventive maintenance execution, and long‑term equipment reliability by maintaining a high‑quality data foundation within SAP.

Position Responsibilities
  • Maintain and govern SAP PM master data standards, ensuring consistent naming conventions and data accuracy across the facility.
  • Create and update functional locations and equipment records to accurately represent plant systems, configurations, and technical attributes.
  • Build, correct, and sustain equipment BOMs by interpreting OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and parts documentation.
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance plans and task lists, translating technical procedures into structured SAP content.
  • Ensure notifications and work orders are created correctly and contain accurate history, failure codes, and data needed for analysis.
  • Perform routine data quality checks, resolve inaccuracies, and maintain clean, reliable maintenance master data.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to align master data with real‑world equipment and maintenance needs.
  • Provide training, guidance, and job aids to end users for requesting new equipment, BOMs, or functional locations.
  • Generate SAP‑based reports to monitor BOM completeness, PM coverage, overdue tasks, and overall data integrity.
  • Support Reliability Engineering, audits, and continuous improvement efforts through accurate data structure and reporting.
Basic Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, Industrial Maintenance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ or more years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment such as metals, mining, chemicals, or similar operations.
  • 2+ or more years of hands‑on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • Experience building or maintaining functional locations, equipment records, BOMs, task lists, and maintenance plans.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, mechanical/electrical drawings, OEM manuals, and parts lists.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data validation, cleansing, and analytics.
  • Understanding of preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical users.
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership of data integrity and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Desired Qualities
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Collaborative working style with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to translate complex technical data into structured, standardized SAP content.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and long‑term data governance.
