Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day cleaning of rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, stairways and other areas to maintain health standards.
• Service, clean and restock restrooms.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Keep storage areas and carts stocked and tidy.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork; perform waxing/polishing as needed.
• Sweep, scrub, wax or polish floors with appropriate equipment.
• Assist with setup and takedown for meetings and events.
• Minimal ground maintenance including watering and leaf removal.
• Stock supplies as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Primary Purpose

Provide day-to-day cleaning of the buildings, with minimal ground maintenance.

• Day-to-day cleaning of rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, stairways, and other work areas so that the health standards are maintained
• Day-to-day service, cleaning and supply restrooms
• Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary
• Sweep, scrub, wax or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines

Minimum Qualifications

• Physical dexterity (ability to stand, stoop, bend and stretch for long periods of time)
• 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area desired.
