Job summary

The Blossoms seeks a Crew Chief to oversee maintenance and repair tasks at our facility in Little Rock, AR. The role requires hands-on work with building systems, carpentry, and safety awareness to ensure a well-maintained environment for residents.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial maintenance, strong communication skills, and a commitment to professionalism. Travel or on-site coordination may be required to address resident needs and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience with commercial maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, and related facilities.
• General construction experience preferred.
• Must display professionalism and ability to solve problems independently.

We are in need of a Crew Chief! Must have knowledge in designs, materials and contruction. Travel required!!!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and/or paint exterior surfaces as needed
• Lighting electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Repair/replace light fixtures.
• Repair call system.
• Perform carpentry duties, operate saws, hand tools, etc.
• Repair/remove/replace ceiling tile.
• Repair walls, paint, caulk, strip and stain furniture, repair floor tile, install dry wall.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with commercial maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, electrical systems,alarm systems, appliances, commercial stoves, refrigerators, air-conditioning and heating units.
• General construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must display professionalism both in appearance and attitude.
• Must possess the ability to solve problems and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must genuinely care for and understand the elderly and other persons with various disabilities.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with peers, residents, family members, visitors,government agency personnel and the general public.
• Must possess the ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have patience, tact, a positive disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult people.
