Alpha Project for the Homeless in San Diego seeks a Worker/Laborer to support the Work Programs team. Responsibilities include weed abatement, encampment cleanups, litter and graffiti control, and other maintenance tasks under supervision.

The role offers on-the-job training, a full-time non-exempt schedule, and benefits including paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and 100% employer-paid health insurance.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Bag items into trash bags and load into trucks and dumpsters.
• Cut and rake landscape, climb ladders, and work on varied ground.
• Operate chainsaws, weed trimmers, rakes, hedgers, shovels and tools.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep a safe worksite.
• Report safety or equipment concerns to Supervisor or Program Manager.
• Adhere to safety laws and OSHA rules at all times.
