A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Chief to join a dynamic team.
Working Location: Davenport, IA.
Pay: $35hr - $42hr.
Shift: Dayshift, M - F.

Responsibilities
- Be on time and have excellent attendance.
- Meet or exceed plant up-time goal of 98%.
- Maintain building call response time of 2 minutes or less.
- Actively patrol assigned building to proactively address equipment issues.
- Report all major issues to Chief Engineer and Production Manager; assist with resolution.
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship between building maintenance crew and production team.
- Completion at 100%.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.

- Possess and maintain a positive attitude.
- Be able to work past the schedule, as issues may arise.
- Perform physically demanding tasks; lifting and moving objects heavier than 50 lbs may be required regularly.
- Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift; the plant environment may be warm at times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or commercial laundry environment with 24/7 operations.
- Strong knowledge of three‑phase electrical systems, motor controls, and industrial electrical components.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts; prior certifications helpful but not required – training and certification provided.
- Experience working with three‑phase electrical systems required.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces safely.
Desired Skills
- Experience working with gasket installation & replacement.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Experience with conveyor systems and industrial pumps in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated control systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems maintenance, including gasket replacement and alignment procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, to support production needs.
- Basic welding or fabrication skills.
