Job summary

Eleven Western Builders, Inc. in California is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to perform basic handyman tasks, install retail fixtures, railings, doors, cabinetry, and decor, and diagnose issues for long-term solutions.

You will measure, cut, drill, nail, and assemble materials to spec, maintaining a clean, organized job site. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance, 3+ years in commercial construction, 3+ years retail carpentry, and reads blueprints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance (or similar) experience.
• 3+ years commercial construction experience.
• 3+ years retail carpentry experience.
• Plumbing experience is a plus.
• Able to read blueprints and understand construction methods.
• Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Travel to work sites and overnight stays up to 1 week.

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding with basic safety training and equipment certification.
• Perform a variety of basic handyman tasks and assemble materials to spec.
• Install retail fixtures, railings, doors, cabinetry and décor packages.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to formulate long term solutions.
• Maintain time management to meet project deadlines and ensure quality standards.
