Job summary

Stonebridge Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Attendant in Lone Tree, CO to support hotel facilities. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and routine upkeep to ensure a safe, comfortable guest environment.

The position reports to the Chief Engineer, is part-time, and requires practical knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of maintenance systems (refrigeration, heating, plumbing, electrical).
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures (lockout-tagout) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; good communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous service to guests and staff.
  • Assist with maintenance and preventive tasks on refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C, and hotel equipment.
  • Monitor utilities and report issues; ensure projects meet specifications.
  • Log maintenance findings and perform room and public area upkeep.
  • Respond to emergencies and support event-space maintenance.
  • Maintain workspace cleanliness and security of tools and equipment.

Status: Part-time
Reports to: Chief Engineer
Pay Range: $19 - $20 (Depending on Experience)
Job Summary: The Maintenance Attendant supports the maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring all facilities and equipment are functioning properly. This role assists with preventative maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
  • Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C units, and hotel equipment.
  • Monitor electric, gas, and water consumption and report issues as needed.
  • Ensure all maintenance projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
  • Practice safety procedures, including lockout-tagout, in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.
  • Conduct maintenance checks of equipment and properly log findings.
  • Report all safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty immediately.
  • Maintain key inventory and ensure security procedures are followed.
  • Respond to emergency situations and assist as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing maintenance programs for event spaces, public areas, and hotel equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and storage areas.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance systems, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
Work Environment:
  • Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to noise, vibration, and mechanical equipment during maintenance tasks.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with potential on-call responsibilities for emergencies.
