Formación

• High School Diploma plus equivalent experience, or 2 year associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Manual dexterity and good hand–eye coordination.
• Mechanical skills to reassemble large machines after repairs.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing machinery issues.

GENERAL SUMMARY (Describe the overall duties and responsibilities of the job):

• Maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties required for successful job performance):

• Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
• Perform tests to make sure that the machine is running smoothly
• Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (These are the traditional minimum, or required, bona-fide occupational qualifications and other requirements of most people in this job).

• High School Diploma plus equivalent experience, or 2 year associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or related field

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those needed to perform the essential functions of the job).

• Manual dexterity. When handling very small parts, workers must have a steady hand and good hand–eye coordination.
• Mechanical skills. Workers must be able to reassemble large, complex machines after finishing a repair.
• Troubleshooting skills. Industrial machinery mechanics and maintenance workers and millwrights must observe and properly diagnose and fix problems that a machine may be having .

• Overtime of varying levels may be required with this position.
• Periodic travel may be required to help with issues at other locations.
