Job summary

Patterson Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Associate in Blythewood, SC to perform troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of electromechanical systems and general building upkeep in a fulfillment center environment.

You will complete work orders, operate maintenance software, inspect equipment, and follow GMPs with PPE. This role requires hands-on skills, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Post high school mechanical or building trades, or equivalent combination of education and work experience accepted;
• 1–3 years in building trades and/or machine repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
• 1–3 years in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment, conveyors, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work orders and preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Use and navigate maintenance management programs (SAP, UpKeep, etc.).
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Follow safety guidelines including lockout/tagout.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install parts on machines and equipment.
• Work independently or in a team setting.
• Use hand and power tools properly.
• Perform visual inspections and maintenance of production equipment.
• May initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.
• Notify department manager of unusual situations.
• Follow GMPs and wear PPE as required.
