Agata & Valentina in New York, NY is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Associate to keep our stores running smoothly. You’ll handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and routine inspections while collaborating with store leadership and management.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in maintenance in retail or food service, are reliable, enjoy problem-solving, and can work independently. Refrigeration experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on maintenance or facilities experience.
• Retail, grocery or food service environment experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Refrigeration experience or certification is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Communicate maintenance priorities clearly with store leadership.
• Hands-on facility maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and address plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general equipment issues.
• Perform minor carpentry, patching, painting, fixture repairs, and general building upkeep.

• Escalate issues requiring licensed professionals to the Store Manager and General Manager.
• Maintain basic records of repairs, inspections, and servicing schedules.
• Working knowledge of food safety and storage requirements.
