Job summary

Suntex Marinas in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Associate to ensure the marina’s facilities are clean, safe, and functional. You will perform repairs, basic upkeep, and respond to maintenance requests with a professional service mindset.

This full-time role requires the ability to read technical manuals, operate hand and power tools, and work flexible hours including weekends. You will uphold high standards of guest service while keeping equipment and buildings in good repair.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and time management.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
• Provide the highest level of customer and guest services; expedites maintenance requests from management.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks or filling gaps on walls and doing marina-specific duties.
• Use hand tools and power tools for minor maintenance repairs and grounds/walk maintenance.

POSITIONPURPOSE:

The Maintenance Associate’s primary responsibility is the quality and upkeep of the marina. This person will perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. They will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. The Maintenance Associate projects a professional company image through all types of interactions.As this is a fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspectandtroubleshootequipmentandsystems(e.g.ventilation)
