Job summary

Miller's Health Systems is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to help with the upkeep of the facility's physical plant and grounds in Indiana. You will support safety, comfort, and satisfaction for patients and visitors while following safety and infection-control policies.

The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, and heating knowledge, a professional appearance, and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
• Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
• Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training.
• Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general upkeep of the physical plant, its property and grounds.
• Contribute to patient and visitor safety, comfort and satisfaction.
• Follow all safety regulations and policies regarding infection control and applicable standards.
• Communicate professionally with other departments, patients, families and staff.

As a Maintenance Assistant at Miller’s, you are responsible for helping with the general upkeep of the physical plant, its property and grounds. You play an important role in patient and visitor safety, comfort and satisfaction. You follow all regulations and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and other applicable standards. You are able to work from a task list. You communicate professionally with other departments, patients, their families and staff.
