Toyotomi America Corporation (TAC) in Springfield, KY manufactures metal stampings for the OEM Automotive Industry. Summary/Objective (role description)

Develops skills of and provides direction to the maintenance department.


Essential Functions (duties and tasks summary)


  1. Oversee the maintenance of equipment and machinery and modifications to structure or layout of facility.

  2. Organize projects to be completed, delegating work to maintenance team members.

  3. Coordinate with vendors to requisition materials and supplies for the department, monitoring and maintaining appropriate repair part inventories.

  4. Assist in developing skill of maintenance team.

  5. Assist in maintaining department compliance with standards, and appropriate training is effectively given to all employees.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Work Environment (example)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to conditions of heat in the summer and cold in the winter and will work near moving mechanical parts. Uniform clothing and PPE provisions are provided by the company and are designed to assist with these conditions. Team members are also exposed to noise, which may require the use of hearing protection in certain areas.

This is a full-time shift-work position. Overtime is required as needed to meet customer demand and may involve weekend work.

  • Knowledge of basic electricity or equivalent. Helpful if able to read blueprints, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics schematics and circuit diagrams and use measurement instruments and gauges.

  • Understanding of electrical, electronic, pneumatics, hydraulic, and mechanical drives.

  • Proficient personal computer and software skills.

Education and Experience


  • High school diploma or G.E.D

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Industrial Maintenance degree in addition to three (3) + years of supervising experience in maintenance field or 5+ years in the maintenance field or equivalent education and experience.
