Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at our Crane, TX facility. The role involves performing maintenance functions in accordance with Life Care standards and applicable laws, with responsibilities across mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior maintenance experience; a valid driver’s license is preferred to support local tasks and safe operations.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems is preferred.
  • Local building codes and ordinances knowledge preferred.
  • Minimum one year of maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality maintenance functions in the facility in compliance with laws and Life Care standards.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned and ensure safety and sanitation.
  • Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors; protect confidentiality.
  • Follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.

Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is a dynamic company with an expectation of excellence in the delivery of long-term care to every patient every day. We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our great team!

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides quality maintenance functions to the facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and ordinance preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Must have a valid driver's license in current State with satisfactory driving record per Life Care standards.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility.
  • Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
  • Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: general maintenance responsibilities, patient rights, and safety and sanitation.
  • Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
  • Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.

WORK SCHEDULE

As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays; non-exempt position.
