Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance in residential and facility settings.
• Remodeling tasks, roadways and snow removal, and grounds care as needed.
• Provide safety training and ensure safety standards across Arc facilities.
• Assist with vehicle transport for clients or staff when required.

Follows up on deficiencies and recommendations.Participates in the process and function of The Arc of the Ozarks Health and Safety Committee.Completes, coordinates, and arranges for the completion of corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance with Arc of the Ozarks operating procedures, practices, and financial considerations.Ensures that major equipment and furnishings are maintained in safe, operable conditions and/or arranges for replacement.Quality Assurance and ComplianceProvide training as assigned to the residential staff as it relates to the safety and maintenance needs of residential facilitiesRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesA knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and carpentry.
