Vero Beach Care Center is seeking a proactive Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe, welcoming, and well-functioning. You will perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, troubleshoot issues, and respond quickly to emergencies.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• General maintenance knowledge of building systems, equipment and grounds.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs in varied conditions.
• Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic computer skills - you know your way around email, Word, and Excel
• Sharp attention to detail and top-note organization skills
• Team player attitude with strong communication skills
