Job summary

Hcshiring is seeking a maintenance associate to support our senior living community. In this role you will perform routine maintenance and repair of the residence, maintain the grounds and buildings, and help ensure the facility is safe and sound for residents and staff.

You will follow safety procedures, keep preventive maintenance schedules, assist with ordering supplies, and may act as contact for vendors performing maintenance work.

Qualifications

• A passion for helping seniors.
• A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repair of residence, maintaining physical appearance of the grounds and building as well as ensuring that the building is physically sound and safe.
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service.
• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assists with ordering and maintaining proper inventory levels of maintenance supplies.
• May act as contact person for vendors performing maintenance jobs.
