The role offers exposure to Life Safety and regulatory training and an opportunity to advance to a Director of Maintenance position.

Maintenance Assistant

Mariemont Care Center is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant who has experience with general building maintenance and wants the opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role.

This is more than a traditional maintenance position. We are looking for someone who wants to learn, develop, and grow with the organization, with the potential to advance into a Director of Maintenance role.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with routine building repairs and refurbishing

• Drywall repair and patching

• Light fixture and light bulb replacement

• Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance

• General preventive maintenance

• Assist with building and facility upkeep

• Learn and participate in Life Safety and regulatory training

• Work alongside experienced leadership to learn all aspects of healthcare facility maintenance

• Take on increasing responsibilities as your skills develop

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous maintenance, handyman, construction, or building repair experience

• Experience with drywall, plumbing, electrical/light replacement, or general repairs

• Strong hands‑on problem‑solving skills

• Dependable and willing to learn

• Ability to work independently while also taking direction
